Submit your photo for Pet Sitter's World magazine

Thank you for your interest in submitting a cover photo for Pet Sitter's World magazine!

Please note: PSI is unable to reply each time a photo is submitted, but we will contact a member if his or her photo is selected for use. 

Please read these necessary requirements before submitting a cover photo:

• To be used for print, photos must be high-resolution and a large file size is required. This is why we ask for professionally-taken photos to be submitted. (On a case-by-case basis, we can consider high-quality photos that were taken with a smartphone with a high-resolution camera, or photos taken by non-professional photographers that still meet the quality and resolution requirements). Please keep in mind that, for various reasons, even photos that we may think "look great" still won't meet the criteria for print.
  
  
• Photos should be vertical (tall) and not horizontal (wide). The dimensions of the photo have to work with the cover of the magazine, which is vertical. Wide photos can typically not be cropped/formated to work. We also look for photos that have space around the person/pet, which allows space to include the titles on the cover. See past covers as examples.
  
  
• No selfies or scanned photos will be considered. Selfies can definitely make for fun photos, but are not suitable for the magazine cover. Scanned copies of photos are not high enough resolution to be printed. Thanks for your understanding!
  
  
• You must have permission from your photographer to share the photo with PSI for potential use. No compensation is provided for use of photos, but both the member and photographer will be given credit in the magazine issue for which the photo is used.
  
  
• All submitted photos must feature a PSI member (or staff sitter) with a pet.  We  love pet photos but can't use them on the cover (a pet sitter must be in the photo also!). We are also in need of various pet types featured with pet sitters. We love to see photos of pet sitters with dogs (and we still welcome those photos), but we are in particular need of photos that feature other pet types, as we like to feature a different pet type on each cover.

Photos are accepted on a continuous basis until all cover photos have been selected.
