About My Business

Hello and Meow! I'm Christine, owner of The Cat's Pajamas. I love cats and more importantly, they seem to love me! I am currently owned by Bear and Pudge, Traditional Applehead Siamese brothers.

I retired from the corporate rat race and rescued Samuel, my first Applehead, in 2009. We had 8 wonderful years together, during which he had a sarcoma which cost him his right hind leg and then an intestinal lymphoma which eventually cost him his life. He was a real trooper and never complained and we both learned a great deal. I now have a great relationship with U of M Veterinary Oncology and Alternative Medicine. I am able to administer chemo meds, injections, pills, etc. (to compliant kitties), as well as TONS of cuddles and love.

I started cat sitting for neighbors and friends in 2012 and had such a good time over the years (and the kitties did too!) that I decided to become a Certified Professional Pet Sitter and obtained the CPPS designation in 2016. Sam's illnesses prevented me from starting The Cat's Pajamas until the fall of 2017. I offer my services in your home (I have no employees) so your babies never need to leave the comfort and safety they are accustomed to.

Every visit is guaranteed one hour (or more if I fall in love). I welcome your call or email as I would love to talk with you about your babies and their needs, and talk with them about their toy, treat and play preferences!!
