G.K.'s Pet Love was established in 1989 in Bedford, Texas and is in business since for more then 30 years.

We are very proud that this was the first business in the HEB area providing in-home pet sitting services.

Glenna Benson the founder and owner of G.K.'s Pet Love started the company and served her clients by herself.

After 5 years in business the word spread all around the area how wonderful job she's doing with her clients. That was the time when she decided to grow her business and started to hire pet sitters. All sitters are background checked, regularly trained, reliable and trustworthy adults. G.K.'s Pet Love most successful years was when Glenna managed more than 16 pet sitters.

After 30 years of working and serving her clients, Glenna Benson retired from active pet sitting in 2019. Since then she is focusing on the company's office duties.

Back in 1989 the only contact with clients was to make a phone call. Time has changed and internet became the main platform of doing business. G.K.'s Pet Love to keep up with the world, started a website www.gkspetlove.com and since then many of our customers found us just doing a Google search. We also have a Facebook Page and posting pictures of clients with the permission of the owners.

G.K.'s Pet Love owner and all pet sitters are Insured and Bonded by the Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

We are doing drop-in visits, dog walking, overnight visits, house sitting, plant care, bring in mail and packages.

We pet sit a wide variety of pets like dogs, cats, birds, snakes, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, even a mini pig who's not mini at all. We are all experienced pet sitters, not afraid of small dogs or big dogs, a Great Dane or a Pitbull is not a problem. We know pets can be stressed the first few visits because of your absence. We will do everything to make them calm and relaxed. As part of the service, we send daily updates to our customers with pictures by text or e-mail.

G.K.'s Pet Love currently managing 6 pet sitters, they all work with Glenna for 6 - 30 years. If something is comes up with one of the sitters, the other 5 are ready to fill in for her, they are all back-ups to each other. Whatever happens, your pet will be taken care of.
