About My Business

With Nana's Pet Sitting and Dog Walking, pets receive care based on their unique personalities, age and individual health needs. If your pet is taking medications or requires special care such as insulin shots or sub-cutaneous fluids, Nana's sitters are trained to handle it all. When dog walking, our sitters are trained to monitor for heat and cold issues and we monitor their pee output and check their poop to be sure everything is “as it should be”. Our top priority is to keep them safe and happy, whether inside your home or out on a fun walk! We keep a safe distance from any other pets or people out on a walk, again, putting your pets’ safety first.

Our professional in-home pet sitters will keep your dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs...whatever pets you have and love...happy and safe at home. Your pets stay in their own comfortable environments allowing them to be happy, content and peaceful. Your pets will receive the attention and love they are accustomed to in a place they are accustomed to!

Nana's Pet Sitting and Dog Walking has earned the esteemed Angie's List Super Service Award consistently since 2009. We are also highly recommended by many local vet offices in the Charlotte area.

Along with medication training, all of Nana's sitters are trained and remain current in pet first aid, CPR, wellness and puppy & senior pet care training from the prestigious Pet Tech program. Pet Tech is the first international training center for pet first aid and CPR for cats and dogs. Nana is a Master Pet Tech Instructor, and has been since 2009, and provides required continuing training certification for each of our sitters.

Nana's Pet Sitting and Dog Walking is appropriately licensed and is fully insured and bonded. Nana’s is an accredited business with the highest rating available by the Better Business Bureau of Charlotte and has been since 2007. Everyone, including Nana, has completed a background check. Nana’s Pet Sitting & Dog Walking has been an active member of Pet Sitters International since 2007. Nana completed the CPPS designation thru PSI, and has proudly completed the PSI accreditation requirements each year to maintain that accreditation. CPPS, Certified Professional Pet Sitter, involves extensive pet sitter training with a written test at the end. Other completed designations include the COVID 19 Certification and Disaster Planning for Professional Pet Sitters.
