About My Business

Hi, I'm Matty! I will be your pet's totally PAWsome and newest best friend! I grew up on a farm and in/around a large veterinary practice. I have been surrounded by, loving for, and caring for dogs, cats, and other farm animals since I was a very young child.

My wife and I have three dogs in our pack, Luca Brasi, Angie and Skyline. Luca is a 11yr old Chocolate Dapple Dachshund who has been with us since he was eight weeks old. He loves traveling in the car! Angie is an 9yr old Min-Pin Mix we adopted from Puerto Rico in Decmber 2020. Skyline is a sweet senior Boston Terrier Mix with some heart issues we recently fostered. We fell in love with him so now he has found his FURever home as of May 2024! Angie and Skyline were both adopted through Tri County Animal Rescue. We enjoy vacationing and traveling with our three fur babies whenever possible.

I am a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through PSI. I have also attained advanced certifications for Health & Sanitation practices, Bird Care & First Aid, and Rabbit/Pocket Pet Care & First Aid. I am certified Pet CPR, First Aid & Wellness Instructor through PetTech®, PTI #2700. I am also fully certified, licensed and insured as a pet transporter. I am registered with the USDA as a Class T-Carrier under the Animal Welfare Act (certificate No. 58-T-1022).

I also volunteer about 10-12 hours a week at TriCounty Animal Shelter in Boca Raton as a dog walker. I am a level five walker which means I am approved to walk ALL the dogs in the shelter. I also have special permission to walk several of the "Staff Only" dogs at the shelter. Besides dog walking at TriCounty I also volunteer to help the shelter with fundraising and adoption events throughout the community.

I have a great deal of experience handling cats and dogs of varying breeds, dispositions, and temperaments. I have a unique ability to connect with even the shyest and most skittish rescues that come into the shelter.

I LOVE all animals and enjoy spending my time surrounded by them as much as possible. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with your fur baby and help you improve the quality of their lives. I promise you that while your pet(s) is in my care, they will receive the same love and attention as if they were my own!
