About My Business

Pieper Paws Pet Care is a family-owned business that has been providing quality in-home pet sitting and dog walking services started in 2013 by Scott and Michie Pieper, a husband and wife team along with their kitty supervisor, Dexter. Our top priority is to make sure that your pets are safe and their needs are met with utmost care by providing customized services to meet their needs. We provide you with a peace of mind, knowing that your pet is safe and given the attention they deserve. We continue to stay updated on our pet CPR and First Aid training course as well as being insured and bonded. Nonprofit animal shelter has a special place in our hearts so we currently volunteer at a local Greyhound animal shelter in Woodinville (Greyhound Pets Inc.) and Seattle Humane Society. "In November 2017, I hired Michie Pieper of Pieper Paws Pet Care to watch our two cats while my husband and I went on vacation. I cannot possibly speak highly enough of Michie. She is friendly, warm, and professional. She is incredibly organized and detail-oriented, communicates very clearly, and provides everything a potential client might want to know right up front.

She came to our scheduled meet-and-greet on time and with a binder of documents for license, bonding, background checks, pet CPR certificates, etc. She even had pictures of her and her cat and family, which was a really nice touch that I haven't seen from other pet sitters. She knew how to provide just the right amount of personal information to help me get to know her better. She was very thorough throughout the meet-and-greet, which made me feel confident that she would take great care of my cats.

While we were gone, she sent a daily text with multiple pictures of our cats (she had previously obtained my permission to send texts). I didn't have to call her for updates or wonder how everything was going, as had been my experience with previous pet sitters. Her text updates provided an incredible amount of peace of mind.

Our two cats are timid, so we really appreciated that 1) Michie herself was the only person caring for them; 2) that she arrived at a consistent time each day; and 3) that she was evidently very patient and kind with them so that they came out of their hiding places and actually interacted with her.

While we were gone, Michie informed us that there was some windy weather at home. She had noticed a couple of small plants and a vase on our deck that she was concerned might get blown over. She placed those small items in our garage for safe keeping and looked around the yard to make sure that everything else was secure.

I cannot adequately articulate how much I appreciate Michie's attention to detail and all-around outstanding customer service. Michie is definitely our go-to pet sitter from now on. "
