Introductory Visit Information

An initial interview is required for first time clients. During this meeting in your home we will review and sign the contract and become acquainted with your pet. We will ask that you show us your pet’s routine and your household layout. Normally, 2 weeks notice is required for new clients so that we can schedule this meeting.

About Us

Bulverde Critter Sitters is owned and operated by Janice and Terry Richardson. We bring over 40 years of combined animal health care experience, plus a love for animals to our pet sitting services.

Janice has over 16 years of experience in the Animal Health Care Industry, and Terry has over 30 years of experience in the Animal Health Industry and is an experienced veterinary technician.

We have owned and raised horses for 45 years. We have both lived in the Bulverde area since 1994.

Payment information

We accept cash, check or Paypal. A handling fee of $35 will be charged on all returned checks. Payment is expected at the time of our first visit. One half deposit is required on all assignments of more than 7 days.

*Additional fees may be charged for very large or difficult to handle pets, for services rendered outside regular route area, for administering medication to temperamental pets, for emergency vet care, for watering a large number of plants or for any other requested services that are time consuming. Longer visits can be arranged for an additional fee. Inclement weather may shorten or delay arrival time and length of visit.
