About My Business

Hi! I am Emily, the owner of Lakeview Pet Care, in-home cat sitting specialist. We have been serving the cats of Chicago since 2017. We are growing and our team of close knit cat lovers is currently 30 strong! Many of our sitters have cats of their own or volunteer with local rescues but all of us are lifelong animal lovers. We are trained in special fear free strategies that will help your pet have a more relaxing enjoyable time and will reduce stress for all of us in the process.

Lakeview Pet Care is a boutique cat sitting company located on Chicago's north side. We are a group of local cat lovers who live in your neighborhood and work together to make sure your cat is comfortable while you're away. Lakeview Pet Care is insured, bonded and a member of Pet Sitters International, the world’s largest educational association for professional pet sitters. You can have peace of mind that your little one is in the best hands.

We offer in-home cat sitting, aiming to keep your cat's routine as close to possible as if you were home. Cats are creatures of habit, and most cats are happiest at home in their own environments. Visits are 20-30 minutes and include feeding, water refresh, litter scooping, brushing, playtime and any other necessary care. We are happy to water a few plants or bring in a small package, just ask. Many of our sitters are able to dispense medicine, insulin ect. 

The Lakeview pet Care difference: We aim to be very flexible with last minute appointments, as we know traveling can be stressful. You can expect great photos and updates of your little one while you're away. Simple rates, and no additional fees for weekends.

We are expanding and currently serving neighborhoods from the South Loop all the way up to Rogers Park as well as more western neighborhoods like Bucktown, Logan Square, Avondale and Jefferson Park.  Just ask!
