About My Business

Ivy's Critter Care was established in 2000. I began my career with animals as a veterinary technician. I have worked in day practices, emergency, critical care and specialty hospitals as well as equine and exotic clinics for over 20 years. I decided after a time that I wanted to have a more personal experience with pets and chose a career in professional pet care. I simultaneously worked as a full-time vet tech and offered pet sitting services part-time. In January of 2004 I decided to make Ivy's Critter Care my full-time job and work as an on-call technician for emergency and critical care facilities. You can have the added peace of mind that your furry, feathered or scaled babies has someone caring for them with extensive veterinary medical training. In addition to veterinary medicine and professional pet care, I have also volunteered my time with local shelters and rescue organizations as well as the Los Angeles Zoo. My entire adult life has been dedicated to the love and care of animals. My personal pets have included: dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, snakes, lizards, turtles and tortoises, parrots and smaller birds and horses. As you can see, I care for any and all animals - nothing is too big or small!
