WHO I AM:

Hello, my name is Anne Ross. I've shared my life with cats for over forty years. They are as essential to me as the air I breathe!

I'm a former vet tech and holistic health practitioner, with five years of professional experience as a pet sitter. When I was twenty, I graduated from a Veterinary Assistant course and worked as a vet tech for several years. Along the way, I became a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner, working with both animals and people. Eventually, I became a government employee. In 2019, I decided that I wanted to return to my first love-- working with cats! Bye bye boring government job! Hello kitties!

The deep connection I've always felt with cats led me to become involved in the rescue community. My cat Yanni and I have socialized over 35 foster cats and kittens for Los Angeles area rescues. I've drawn on my expertise as a holistic health practitioner to develop a flower essence protocol to help rescued cats recover from emotional trauma. I also work with clients to develop individualized flower essence protocols for cats with separation anxiety and other behavioral or emotional issues.

Between 2016 and 2018, I worked as a cat care specialist for Superstar Pet Sitting in Manhattan Beach and a cat boarding facility in West Hollywood. My clients’ comments revealed that there was a need for a holistically savvy pet sitting company focused solely on the unique needs of cats. I listen to my clients, so I founded The Cat Concierge to meet this need!
