At GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care we take our business and your pet’s care seriously. When you do business with us, you can rest assured that your pets and your home will be handled with the utmost love, care and respect.

Established in 2007, GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care is your premier professional pet care provider. We are a licensed business in Contra Costa County, and are Bonded, Insured and Pet First Aid Certified. Additionally, our team members must successfully complete a background screening process prior to coming on board with us. You can ALWAYS rest assured that your pets and home will be well cared for while you are away, and just as you left them when you return home.

Currently, our primary services are:

• Drop-in Pet Sitting visits (in YOUR home)

• On-Leash Neighborhood Dog Walks (one

household at a time)

GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care was born from my love and passion for animals. After spending more than ten years in the corporate world, I decided that it just wasn't my calling. I have been an animal lover my entire life. In fact, I can’t remember a time when animals weren't in my life. My passion is helping animals - AND their people. So, it just made sense to give working with animals a try…and the rest is history!

My husband and I currently have two dogs - 14 year old Bassett Hound mix, Undy (aka Underdog) and a 2 year old Chihuahua mix, Cha Cha, as well as three indoor cats, Boi Boi, Dinky and Dusty - as well as a small colony of feral/semi-feral we feed in our yard. We are both avid supporters of adopting rescue pets. In fact, every one of our pets has been a rescue of one sort or another. I volunteered with Ninelives Rescue & Adoptions from February 2006, until the group disbanded in 2008, assisting with adoption events and fostering kittens, puppies and adult dogs in our home until they could be placed with new loving families. Years later the disbanded rescue group has returned to life via a new 501(c)3 non-profit The Starfish Pet Project, and while my time to participate in adoption events has been limited thus far, I am a proud member of the rescue’s Board of Directors.

Over the years, GET OUT OF TOWN! Professional Pet Care has spearheaded multiple pet food drives, generating well over 6,000 pounds of donated dog and cat food to benefit Bay Area animal welfare and rescue groups including: Rocket Dog Rescue, Furry Friends Pet Relief, Berkeley Humane Society's Pet Food Pantry, Contra Costa Humane Society's AniMeals Program, FurEver Animal Rescue and Community Concern for Cats.
