About My Business

More than 30 years of responsible, dependable, quality pet sitting that is professional and personally interested in making your pets very happy and loved.

Angie grew up in the Midwest countryside spending the summers horseback riding, camping, catching bullfrogs, tadpoles and turtles at the lake and exploring the flora and fauna that the great outdoors had to offer in all seasons. She would most likely be found in the 4H livestock barns during the county fair bottle feeding a newborn calf, sheep, goat or piglet rather than on the rides. At home there were always lots of pets. Dogs, cats, fish and small pocket pets, birds. It was a natural for the neighbors to call on her to not only babysit their children but to have her watch the pets during their family vacation. She soon added petsitting to her list of services in addition to babysitting and cutting lawns to earn money in her youth. Fast forward to today and you will find Angie doing what she loves most....being with pets and showing them great care and affection. Her personal and professional goals are intertwined to be always learning and becoming more qualified and knowledgeable in her chosen career. Lifelong learning is what sets Angie"s Whisker Watchers Pet Sitting apart from the crowd of hobby petsitters. Angie has done what she can to make herself the best, most educated and knowledgeable pet sitter around. She has used her spare time to study to become a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International, the leading professional organization for professional pet sitters. She is trained in Pet First Aid and CPR through American Red Cross. There are continuing education credits required to remain in good standing and recertification credits to keep these credentials that must be met. Angie also keeps up to date on the latest information available by reading, attending lectures and by attending the annual Pet Sitters International Annual Conference. You'll find that Angie is also insured and bonded for her business.
