About My Business

Flash and Beans was established in February 2022 and is operated by me, Jennifer Bianchi, as a sole proprietorship and I am pet cpr/first aid certified, insured, bonded and licensed with a clear criminal background. The company is named after my current basset hound, Flash and my beagle/basset hound, Beans who has crossed the rainbow bridge.

My background in animals includes growing up with cats and dogs, a college veterinary technician internship, wildlife ecology studies abroad in Kenya, Africa, Boston Museum of Science animal handler, Animal Rescue League of Boston volunteer and a dog walker for a small company.

Although my graduate degree is in physical therapy, I have supplemented my career with Flash and Beans. An innate love for animals coupled with the more recent need for pet-care contributed to my decision. With a background in home health physical therapy, I have solid skills in infection control, which has proven to be of extreme importance in context of the pandemic and especially when making home visits. Some of my pet-related interests include forest bathing (taking in the forest/nature with our senses, much like dogs do), pet massage and rehabilitation with my goal to pursue further education on these topics. I exercise daily through crossfit, olympic weight lifting and/or cardio classes which keeps me fit and strong so I can safely care for and also challenge your pets with brisk walks, or runs as appropriate.

Flash and Beans’ mission is to support your pet’s overall wellness through safe care, exercise and play. I am happy to offer neighborhood dog walks and drop-in home visits that are customized to you and your pet's needs. To maximize efficiency, we only service Foxborough, MA.
