Established in 1997, we are Gaston County's oldest professional pet sitting company and the best choice for your pet. Pet Charmers is licensed, bonded and insured, as well as being trained yearly in Pet CPR and First Aid.

Pet Charmers is owned by Gastonia native, Liz McPhail Hyde, a Certified Professional Pet Sitter with 16 years of Veterinary experience. Our company is set up as an LLC and has an A plus rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Offering top notch service in pet sitting and dog walking, our company has a superior staff! We always have a back-up plan in place with our trained staff, so your visits are always properly covered.

Active with Pet Sitters International, Liz has attended their annual conferences in San Diego, Myrtle Beach, New Orleans, Winston-Sakem, and Cleveland to learn the latest in professional pet sitting and animal care from pet industry leaders.

In 2016 and again in 2017, Liz was chosen as a Top 5 Finalist as Pet Sitter of the Year, the top honor bestowed by Pet Sitters International. In September of 2018, Liz won the distinguished title of the 2019 PET SITTER OF THE YEAR and received a unique crown!
