About My Business

Before starting my business, I worked for 25 years as a veterinary technician in New Jersey. During that time I learned a great deal about the proper care and handling of animals, including how to administer medications.

In 2004 I started my own business, Larry’s Pet-Sitting. Since then I’ve cared for hundreds of pets: mostly dogs and cats, but also guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and birds. I’ve cared for tiny puppies and kittens as well as huge 125-pound dogs. My services are adaptable to your needs: special foods, how many walks per day your dog needs, length and location of walks, etc. For example, some of my clients like their dogs to be walked in nearby parks. I can transport your pet to the vet if needed. I will also take good care of your house while you’re away: bring in newspapers and mail, water plants, turn lights on or off to make it seem like you’re home.
