About My Business

If you know me, you know I love animals! I've always had animals in my life and to me there is nothing better than their love. I've always wanted to work with animals, but I thought that being a veterinarian was the only way to go, and I wouldn't be able to handle euthanasia with a pet. So I entered the business world instead, first as a bank teller, then in a dermatology office, and most recently as the financial coordinator for an orthodontist.

In 2006, I started my part time pet sitting business while I had a full time office position. I loved it, but when I moved from Northampton to Granby, it didn't make sense to continue due to the distance from my clients. Well, now I am a pet sitter again, and I've been busy building my full time cat sitting business!

I've lived in Granby since 2007 with my husband Ron, my dogs Kako and Jake, and our bearded dragon. I love our town and strive to make it a better place by providing the best quality of service to cat lovers in both Granby and South Hadley. I am also passionate about our environment! I regularly do litter pick ups throughout Granby, and advocate for others to join me. As an animal lover, it is important to me to preserve our Earth for them, and humans.

Anyone who is owned by a cat knows they need lots of attention! I am a lifelong expert in kitty cat care and instinctively know what they need while I visit them. I am a fastidious litter box cleaner, and you and your cat will appreciate my skills! I can also administer medications such as pills, syringe meds, and insulin shots as long as your cat will oblige.

I require at least once daily visits to cats. Their delicate biology and trouble making personalities demand a visit every day! I will visit your home, where your cat feels the most comfortable in their own surroundings.

As an environmentalist, I feel it's crucial to be a paperless business! I use a software program called Time To Pet, where all of your information is stored and easily available to me on the go. We can also communicate through text conversation and you can book services all through this program. It is super easy for you and me!

There is a short list of people that I trust with my animals! I hope to be on that short list for you. I am a member of Pet Sitters International, which provides ongoing education and support. In December of 2020, I earned the designation on Certified Professional Pet Sitter through PSI. I am also insured and bonded for both your protection and mine. I am also current in Pet CPR and First Aid training as of October 2020.
