About My Business

The Crooked Tail was formed in 2006 and is the areas only pet-sitting service that focuses solely on cats. Currently providing service to over 100 clients and caring for over 250 cats we continue to grow each year. We are currently looking to expand our client base in Robbinsville so give us a call!

By dedicating our services entirely to cats, The Crooked Tail is able to provide a more consistent, dependable, feline-focused service. In addition to covering the basics of fresh food, water and scooping litter boxes, we are certified in Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross and often administer routine medications including insulin.

Having pets of my own, and having to rely on pet-sitting services myself over the years, I am aware of the apprehension pet owners feel when deciding to allow a stranger into their homes. Among the most important things in most people's lives are our children, our home and our pets, so I understand that it is pretty unsettling to think about allowing a stranger into your home and around the things that mean the most to you.

I am Miss Betty, Owner of The Crooked Tail, and believe me I know exactly what you are feeling. Admittedly, even I am not comfortable having someone else look after what is most precious to me so it is very important that you know that my top priority is to treat you, your kitties and your home with the same respect and care that I would my own. To me, your babies become like my babies and it is my desire and promise to you to make sure they are treated with as much care, attention and affection that you provide them every day. And that just doesn’t apply to your kitties; it applies to your home as well.

Miss Betty will have it all under control! Waiting for a package delivery while you are away - no problem; those flowers looking a little parched? - no problem; smoke detector chirping due to low battery - no problem; Hurricane just topple three trees on the top of your new garage ? - No problem! (And no kidding! Miss Betty actually acted as a client's representative with the insurance company to jumpstart the claims process for her client who was in Europe for 2 weeks when a major hurricane hit NJ.)
