About My Business

Paws on the Hill was founded in 2010 by a sister and brother team, Darlene Hajduk and Donald Tropp. Darlene is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and holds a B.S. in Biology, while Donald holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Spanish and has a background in human resources and business development.

We provide personalized in-home pet care for dogs, cats and a variety of exotic animals so our valued clients are able to leave their pets in familiar surroundings when work or travel keeps them from home. Our services include pet sitting, dog walking, overnight stays and pet taxis. All of our dog walks are 1-on-1, allowing for walks and bathroom stops to move at a pace appropriate for our clients’ dog(s).

Through the Scout for Pet Owners app, we make it as easy as possible for clients to schedule, book services and communicate with our pet sitters. They are always accessible through phone, email and text. We support our clients through emergencies and last-minute changes.

Paws on the Hill is bonded and insured and a member of Pet Sitters International, the world's largest educational association for professional pet sitters. All of us at Paws on the Hill are lifelong pet lovers and will treat your pets just like our own.

We offer competitive rates as well as daily, weekly or monthly discounted rates for clients who require frequent dog walking. We are also flexible with last-minute cancellations. Learn more about us on Google and Yelp and/or contact us for references. New clients get $10 off their first order!
