About My Business

I’m Blair!

I grew up in Madison, Mississippi, in a family that cherished their furry family members. My bond with animals started very early, and I knew I wanted to share my life with my animals and bring as much joy to their lives as they bring to mine!

My professional background in animal care began working in veterinary hospitals during college. I also volunteering in wildlife rehabilitation and at marine mammal rehabilitation facilities. I learned animal husbandry techniques such as feeding, handling, and daily care working with stranded marine mammals, sea turtles, birds, reptiles, and domestic animals. Studying and recognizing behaviors became a hobby of mine.

I was introduced to pet sitting by my Aunts, who have a Professional Pet Sitting business in Orlando, Fl. In 2016, I began pet sitting in the Jackson, MS, area. In 2020, I continued building my business in the Madison area and filed for my LLC. I became a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International and continue to learn with the continuing education they offer.

In December of 2022, I moved to Pensacola Beach, Florida. In Madison, my trusted company sitters continue to serve our longtime clients. I am excited to join the animal community here in Pensacola.

All About Visits, Services, and Rates!

My Visit Style:

My visits can be customized to what you and your pet need.

All visits include love and attention, feeding, water bowl refresh, treats, litter box cleaning, and potty time. Visits can have enrichment time or walking time.

Every moment I’m with an animal during a visit, I want that time to be unique and all about them. I love enriching visits and walks with games and activities. I use simple enrichment, such as fun music or hiding treats, to stimulate their brains. I use what your animal enjoys the most and novel stimulation to make that time as exciting and engaging as possible.

Visit Types Offered:

Standard = 30-minute visit, Drop-In or Walking Service - $30

Quick = 15-minute visit, Drop-In or Walking Service - $20

Drop-In Visits:

During a Standard Drop-In, I reserve 15-20 minutes for enrichment time, and Quick Drop-In is 5-10 minutes of enrichment of the total visit times.

Drop-In Visits are great for multi-pet families. For families with 2+ animals, the extra pet rates are: Standard - $15, Quick - $10

Walking Visits:

A Standard Walk is 15-20 minutes, and a Quick Walk is 5-10 minutes of the total visit times. Enrichment time is exchanged for more physical activity.

Walking Visits are limited to 2 animals per Walking Visit. The extra pet rates for Walking Visits are Standard - $20 and Quick - $15. For households with more than two animals, a second visit must be booked.

Once clients are signed up in Time to Pet, they can see all of my services and rates.

Getting Started as a Client!

I use Time to Pet for my business!

Time to Pet is a software service that allows me to offer a Client Portal. I can easily stay updated on your pet's information and send Visit Reports, pictures, and more. Clients can view and request services, look at old visits, view invoices, and pay through the portal. You can use TTP in a browser or download the app!

Getting started is easy!

TTP will walk you through the signup process! It will consist of my Service Agreement, demographics, and information about your animals. Once completed, I'll get an email to approve, and I will book you!

Not everyone is tech-savvy. For those clients, I am always happy to assist with the onboarding process. Requesting dates can be done through Time to Pet and by email or text message. Once booked, I'll send you a confirmation invoice for you to review! Time to Pet simplifies everything, and I am proud to be able to offer this service to my clients!
