About My Business

Hi, my name is Pat Rinderle, owner of Canine Companion Plus, located in Milton, Delaware. I have always loved animals and have had the honor of owning dogs, cats, fish, turtles, tortoises, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards and horses.

I have been a proud member of Pet Sitters International (PSI) since opening my business in 2008. In the fall of 2016, I completed my PSI certification course as a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS). I am insured, bonded, certified in Animal and Human CPR, an Equine Sports Massage Therapist (ESMT) and American Red Cross certified in Animal First Aid.

My pet sitting clients benefit from my many years of loving and being responsible for my own pets. My continuing education in pet care, health and safety allows me to stay informed of any advancements in these fields.

My goal as your pet sitter is to provide loving, safe and professional care for your pets and home when you are not able to be there.

I conduct extensive, complementary consultations with new clients to determine their pet’s needs. Some items covered in the consultation are: emergency contact information, vet information & contacts, medications, the pet’s likes and dislikes and feeding schedules.

I take pride in providing fun and safe visits which can include walks, play time, pet transportation, feeding, giving medications and most importantly, giving lots of loves and hugs! I also provide short term overnight stays in your home. Your pets get to stay in the comfort of their own home, on their schedule and you have the peace of mind that your home is being cared for while you are away. During overnight visits, I will rotate the lights in your home, open and close curtains, water indoor plants and bring in newspapers and mail. My business is small, which allows me to be flexible and responsive to your needs.
