About My Business

Hi,

My name is Carol Caton. I have been doing pet care most of my adult life on a part-time basis.  Having just retired from the public schools after 26 years in education. I am now doing pet-care full time in Nantucket, Massachusetts. I am licensed and insured and would love to meet your “furry friends/family members!!!” I am the owner of Keep 'Em Happy Pet Care, LLC.

I pride myself in treating your "fur-baby" as if it were my own when it is in my care!! When you are away on vacation, at work or in need of your special friend being attended to; I do my best to keep you informed of how things are going, send photos and videos for your peace of mind. If you have a pup which you entrust to my care, we will be out walking, playing, possibly doing some socializing and snuggling of course!! If you have a kittie which you entrust to my care, we will spend time playing and snuggling.

A little bit about how I got into this business. I am a native Nantucketer who has always loved animals and grew up with family dogs.  I took care of cats and walked friends’ dogs while growing up.  I had my own beautiful pup, Emma, for 14 years until she passed away from cancer.  After losing Emma while working at Cold Noses in Nantucket, I would often take care of pups while visitors went to grab a bite to eat.  It was at that time that I set up my business on a very casual basis. The rest of the story is full of fun, laughter, cute cold noses, wet kisses and lots of fur coats!!

Your “furry friends/family members” are used to certain routines.  I will do my best to maintain their routines, keep them active and give them lots of cuddles and love.  I would be happy to help keep your animal happy and safe while you are off on vacation or need someone to take care of them.  Please give me a call, send a text or email if you would like to meet or discuss my services.
