About My Business

Since 1988, Kris Johnson has been pet sitting in the Hockessin, Newark, Glasgow and Bear areas. She is experienced in medicating pets (e.g., pills, insulin shots, IV fluids) and light grooming (brushing). Kris is licensed, bonded and insured and is veterinarian and client recommended. Initial visits to meet pets and understand the expected routines are required; it helps strengthen both you and your pet's level of comfort with someone new in your home.

Special needs pets are welcome, and care is taken to fully understand any health or behavior issues and their corresponding treatments and routines to ensure all are duplicated as closely as possible for the well-being of your pet(s).

Additional services include basic grooming (brushing), watering plants, taking in mail and newspapers, and alternating lights/curtains as desired.

Prior to any petsitting assignment being accepted for new clients, a completed client questionnaire and contract are required. Kris will email you these documents in advance and discuss any questions you may have regarding them during the initial consultation.

Kris is a CPPS and engages regularly in opportunities for Continuing Education Units.
