While we are a not-for-profit parrot rescue, we also board your feathered friend. We offer clean, well-lit and bird friendly location to securely care for birds. We do have an exhaustive list of disease testing requirement for any birds needing to be boarded (all of our birds have been tested to this standard) so you can be assured that your bird's health and well-being is of our utmost concern. We provide cages, healthy food (unless your bird has a specific dietary requirement) and toys for your bird's enjoyment during their stay with us. For those birds that require medication (provided they are not contagious) we also can give medications that a vet requires. If your bird is potentially contagious,we can discuss options for their care while you go out of town. The disease testing can take up to two weeks to obtain results, so the earlier you book, the more likely we are going to have a spot for your bird(s). Once you have become a client, we do not have a cancellation policy or a last minute reservation, but the more notice we get, the easier it will be to get your bird(s) into board. We also provide behavior consults, dietary conversion to our custom blended pelleted mix. We also assist in humane investigations where birds are concerned. Lastly, we provide adoption and relinquishment services.
