About My Business

Hi Folks!

I’m Mariday Geyer, owner/operator of Shaker Paws, LLC, a professional pet sitting, dog walking and dog training service located in the central Berkshire County area of Massachusetts.

I provide quality “Paw-fessional” in-your-home care for your pets while you are at work or away from home. Shaker Paws, LLC is a member of Pet Sitters International, the world’s largest educational association for professional pet sitters. I am insured and bonded, certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and currently hold the Certified Pet Sitter designation through Pet Sitters International.

I grew up in the Berkshire County area on a small farm and inherited my love of animals from my father who was a Maine farm boy and an agricultural engineer. I was raised with many animals, including dogs, cats, chicken, sheep and horses and was a member of the 4H horse club.

I am currently a pet parent of one cat Kashi, and two small terrier/cattle dog mixes, Tiger Lilly and Roxie Rocket. I compete with my dogs in canine sports such as agility, Rally obedience, and nosework.

Shaker Paws, LLC takes care of many of the common household pets, such as dogs, cats, fish, caged pets, and birds and can cover livestock needs also. Some of our clients have a selection of both household pets and livestock such as chickens, goats, sheep, horses, llamas, etc. and I are happy to cover both! I also offer transport for current clients to veterinary and grooming appointments and drop off and pick ups from doggie day care. I currently do not offer boarding, doggie daycare or grooming services.

I also offer private dog training and puppy training consultations. I love watching the canine mind work and figuring out the best approach for each individual dog.
