About My Business

Mountain Pets services include professional farm sitting and dog, bird and small animal boarding. Our boarding business is in our home, is kennel free and we specialize in leash-free dog boarding on our spacious 200-acre property. We also pride ourself in our homestyle pet boarding amenities for all types of pet birds, small mammals and reptiles. Our farm sitting services include care for horses, cows, goats, pigs, sheep and all other hoof stock, chickens and other fowl, and other pets in your home such as cats and other small animals and aquariums.

Mountain Pets LLC was established in 2019 and is located in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania. We service clients in the State College area and those throughout Centre County, central Pennsylvania.

Mountain Pets is licensed with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture as a dog kennel and is insured and bonded through Insurers of the Carolinas. Our insurance policy includes Care, Custody and Control coverage. The business is managed and operated by a solo business owner with no additional employees and the owner holds and maintains PSI's Pet Sitter Certification through continuing education.
