About My Business

Hello! My name is Ashley, I've been professionally pet sitting for a year.

I've been in the animal industry for 6 years now. I started my journey in animal care as a Veterinary Assistant at a fast-paced ER and specialty animal hospital for cats and dogs in South Carolina. I worked there for a year before moving down to Florida.

When I moved down to South Florida I worked as a zookeeper and tour guide/educator for a wildlife sanctuary and rehabilitation facility for 4 years. I worked with a wide range of animals both exotic and native. I can take care of anything from fish to big cats!

My own animal menagerie consists of three cats, Stephen, Bowie, and Theo; two budgies, Bonnie and Frigga; and a ball python named Mary Shelley.

I am First Aid and CPR certified for dogs and cats, and have no problems administering medications. I am very active as well, so if you have high-energy animals, it's not a problem. I also have a lot of experience with animals that like to 'talk' or have particularly sassy attitudes. Those are usually my favorite!
