About My Business

I started Carrie's Pet Care because I saw that pet parents were just like me and needed a professional, reliable pet sitter. My own animals mean everything to me and I wouldn't leave them in the care of just anyone. I love helping people with their pets by giving them peace of mind knowing they are being well cared for. My love for all animals began when I was young and so I entered the animal care field, I have been a veterinary technician since 1998.

I offer a free meet and greet to new clients. This meeting is for all of us to get acquainted and so you can tell me all about your pets! Some services I provide are feeding and watering, administering medication, brushing teeth, light grooming, walking, playing, and of course cuddling! I also maintain cleanliness of pet areas; washing bowls, sweep/vacuum, scoop/change litter, and launder soiled pet bedding. In addition to pet care I will also maintain your home; retrieve mail/packages, put trash out to curb, alternate lights and water plants. While you're away I routinely make visits but I may be available for overnight stays.

Another service I provide is daily dog walking Monday through Friday. Many people work or go to school and it's a bit too long for a dog to wait to potty. I give them a walk or playtime and the chance to get a drink, a snack, and some basic interaction to reduce boredom and stress. If you can't be home at your regular time and need me for a second visit or to feed dinner, I can usually accommodate a last minute request.
