About My Business

Lyn's Pet Posse was founded in April of 2013, by me, Lyn Pletcher. I've always had a love for animals, hence our current 9 rescue dogs, 5 rescue cats, 3 alpaca's, a donkey and 1 quaker parrot. They each have their own unique stories and tales of how they warmed our hearts and ended up part of our family. My husband, Scott, and I have been aiding rescue organizations, or should I say they have been aiding us, helping to find good homes and placements for the dogs that seem to get dumped off or are lost and/or need a forever home.

Starting Lyn's Pet Posse Pet Sitting Service has been a dream come true. I get to meet and be a part of the lives of the most wonderful pets and their owners. My goal was and is to be the most professional pet sitter I can be. By joining PSI, I have access to wonderful training videos, webinars, international conferences, and I took the complete certification course. We are NOT just hobby sitters. We are professional pet sitters that are bonded, insured, certified and pet first aid trained. We are also members of Central Ohio Professional Pet Sitters networking group. (COPPS)

Among our services, we do dog walking, overnight pet sits, pet sitting in your home, so your pets can be the most comfortable while you are away. Not only that, but we water your plants, bring in your mail and newspapers, rotate lighting and open and close window coverings, safety check your house and handle any issues, whether it be with a pet or your home. We work out a service plan that works for you and your pets.

My mission is to gain more and more knowledge, provide the best professional and personal care for pets by keeping pets calm in/at their own homes when their owners can't be there, to make life easier and ease the worry for owners when they have to leave their pets, and to simply love them.
