About My Business

In 2001 we placed our American Eskimo, Sheeba, in a local, highly rated kennel when we left to go on vacation. When we arrived a week later we found a much thinner and frailer Sheeba waiting for us. According to the attendant Sheeba had stopped eating after we dropped her off. It was then we realized the heartache she must have felt when her family took her to this strange place, with strange people and, in her eyes, abandoned her. We began looking for an alternative to the often-harmful kennels and finding nothing we founded JV’s Critter Care.

JV’s Critter Care is a husband and wife team, Jay & Vee. Together they have cared for hundreds of pets from the traditional dogs, cats & birds to the more exotic reptiles, sugar gliders, swans, horses and various herd animals.
