About My Business

Animals are my passion. I have been a dog owner/lover since I was a teenager. I began my business in 2012 when I realized I had limited options when picking a pet sitter that would go above and beyond for our Labrador Retriever, Lucy Lu. I wanted someone that understood the ins and outs of being a pet owner truly meant, whether it be an extra treat after dinner or the special routine my dog had when walking around the block. Being a pet owner takes a lot of hard work and dedication but in the end the reward is so much greater than words. I have found my calling in life and find myself lucky that I get to experience so many different animals and their unique personalities on a daily basis. The company is named after my two daughters (Janie & Becca) who enjoy accompanying me on my visits during their free time. At the end of the day I want to make your animal feel as if they are on vacation whenever you're away. The drawback of being a sole provider is that when I take respite from my pet sitting chores I have to refer other sitters to fulfill your needs. I usually give my clients ample notice when I am unavailable.
