About My Business

Cait's Creature Comfort is owned and operated by Caitlin Brody, a veterinary technician and PSI Certified Professional Pet Sitter with over a decade of pet care and veterinary experience.

Thank you for your interest in my pet care services! Animals are my life and my greatest joy. I started pet sitting at the age of 17. After receiving my degree in Veterinary Technology, I have spent the last several years working at various kennels, doggy day-cares and veterinary clinics in the Tampa, Florida area. I recently moved Vancouver and am excited to continue my business in the beautiful state of Washington. I am bonded and insured by Pet Sitters Associates with an up-to-date clear background check. I am pet CPR and First Aid certified with professional experience in handling pet emergencies.

All walks and pet care visits are done by me personally, with loving care and individual attention for each pet. I provide daily dog walking and potty break services while you're at work, as well as vacation care, overnight sitting and pet taxi to special events, veterinary or grooming appointments.

Pet care services are offered from 8am to 9pm daily, with extended hours for busy holidays. Each care visit includes fresh food and water, medication administration, and play time, along with waste clean up for dogs and litter box or cage care for smaller pets.

Does your dog need to get out while you're at work? I provide daily dog walks Monday through Friday with a 15 or 30 minute walk around your neighborhood.

"I'm a veterinarian (currently retired due to disability), and I have a LOT of reptiles, as well as a cantankerous kitty. When my sister's wedding date was unexpectedly rescheduled, I panicked. I had geckos ranging in age from a few days old to 17 years old, with 2 gravid females and one ill gecko still being seen/diagnosed/treated by a herp specialist vet that wasn't close by. My guys needed feeding (of live insects), their temps needed checking, they needed to be checked daily for laid eggs, and some of them needed supplements or medicine. I thought I was going to have to tell my sister I couldn't come to her wedding.

Luckily, I found Cait! She took on everything that needed doing, and more- the ailing gecko of mine passed away while I was gone. She took it in stride and didn't panic, dealt with the situation professionally and with kindness, and went out of her way to take his remains into his vet the very next day. When I returned, she had left me a beautiful condolence card.
