About My Business

Furry Faces Pet Sitting and K9 Obedience Company knows how important it is for clients to relax knowing their fur babies are in loving, professional hands with sitters / trainers who are honest, compassionate and caring.

I grew up involved with animals. I worked with horses, cows, goats, rabbits, pigs, birds as well as dogs, cats and small caged animals. Over the years my love of animals led me to jobs at veterinary facilities.

Along the way , I’ve learned that my clients dogs needed training as well as pet sitting. I joined forces with a number of professional dog trainers and learned from the best! I’m now offering K 9 Obedience training as well as pet sitting.

My interest as a professional pet sitter began when I decided that I preferred to work for myself. There were not many pet sitting services at that time. I jumped in with 2 feet and became very busy very quickly. It didn't take long before I learned I needed limitations. I made changes as I learned I couldn't except every customer that called. My travels have become limited to Venice, Nokomis, Osprey, Englewood (34223). That limitation has been enough to make my schedule more easily manageable.

Jackie’s Furry Faces Pet Sitting LLC is licensed and insured in Sarasota County. We are proud members of Pet Sitters International. We are certified in Pet CPR and First Aid and regularly seek out continuing education courses.

There is no charge for the initial "meet and greet" which takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes. During this time we become acquainted with the owner and the pets. We take this time to discuss daily routines, i.e. feedings, potty and medication schedules. We also discuss future service dates and times. The services we provide include half hour visits, hourly visits as well as overnight stays. We also offer transportation to and from the groomer or veterinarian if requested.
