About My Business

Hi there! I am Phyllis Turner, Owner & Pet Concierge at Wanderlust Elite Pet Services.

I have been in the company of animals since I was as tall as a Beagle. People will say I have a "way" with animals and have even gone so far as to call me Dr. Doolittle. If you remember, Doctor Dolittle is the central character of a series of children's books by Hugh Lofting. He is a doctor who favors animal patients over human patients, & with whom he can speak in their own languages.

I am sorry but I am not able to do overnights in your home BUT, I can come to your home as many times per day as you wish and one visit lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour and includes potty breaks, playtime, feeding, medications etc. I keep your pets company, not just run in and out taking care of basics.

*Mid-Day Dog Walks: This is a great way to get your pup out for some mid-day exercise while you're at work, at appointments, maybe taking a day trip where you'll be gone from home longer than you're comfortable leaving your pup home alone & without potty breaks.

*Cat Care (including playtime & snuggles)

*Daily care while you're away (food, water, playtime, walks, litter boxes, etc.)

*Special Needs & Medications

*Vacation & House Checks (pets or no pets, mail, plants, etc.)

*Dog Park, Hiking/Walking trails

*Pet Taxi (Vet, Groomer, Boarding facilities, etc.)

*Pet Relocation Transportation (Anywhere in FL)

*Drop-in’s/Welfare Checks

*Doggy Day Care for Hotel guests’ dogs (2 hr. visit w/walk, play, beach, brush, feed). I offer Pet Sitting/dog walking at local hotels for guests who may be gone for an extended time and don’t want to leave their pets alone in a strange hotel room.

*Pet Taxi (Vet, Groomer, Boarding facilities, etc.)

*Professional Pet Photography

As the “Empress Ellie Mae’s” adoptive pet-mom, I can testify that Cat Whisperer Phyllis Turner was the best cure for my possibly neurotic “separation anxiety!” From the moment Phyllis entered our home, we knew we had found a most excellent pet sitter. During the “meet and greet” our normally skittish kitty (a nine year old Lilac Point Himalayan rescue who had a rough start in life) stayed out in the open where she could be part of the encounter.
