About My Business

Do you want a sitter who is committed to the pet industry and provides care for your pets? What about recognizing changes in their behavior and communicating to you about their care and any suspicious health concerns?

My name is Deedra and my love for animals has been a part of my life from the beginning. My family owned a small private zoo many years ago in Austin, Texas.

In 1991, I relocated to South Florida and met and married my husband Russ. In 2004, we formed Pet At Home Sitting Services, Inc. and began providing professional pet sitting services in the West Palm Beach area to care for small domestic animals - mainly cats, dogs, pocket pets and fish.

We recognized that trust plays an important factor when our clients give us access to their precious pets and their home. That's why we are an established business and member of PSI. We are also licensed by the City and County. I have invested in training in pet behavior and nutrition. I hold a certification from PSI as a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS). and our Pet At Home team is trained in Pet CPR and First Aid. My husband and I, trained with the assistance of an emergency Veterinarian to administer insulin for diabetes and subcutaneous fluids to dogs and cats, commonly used for pets with kidney disease of chronic renal failure.

Our staff is screened carefully and must pass a background and reference check. You can put your mind at ease knowing who will be caring for your pets and your home.

We are a small service business so please call us well in advance of your pet sitting needs to answer any questions and arrange for a complimentary meet and greet appointment with you and your pets.
