About My Business

Established in 2006, Lazy Days Pet Sitting Service (LDPSS) provides top-notch care for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals in the Rocky Mount area. LDPSS offers a variety of services to ensure your pets are happy and safe while you’re away, including:

*In-home pet sitting with schedules that fit your needs

*Daily mid-day walks to give your dog exercise and fresh air while you’re working

*Pet taxi services to and/or from the groomer or veterinary office

*House sitting services (watering plants, collecting mail, taking trash out for collection)

LDPSS owner Jamie Hoad has a passion for animal care and possesses over 15 years of experience in the field. Fully bonded and insured, Jamie is a certified veterinary assistant who worked for several years at Hicks Animal Clinic. She holds an equine technology degree and has completed the American Red Cross’s Pet First Aid certificate program. In her off time, Jamie has participated in many continuing education programs offered through NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine and multiple vet hospitals.
