About My Business

The Dog Nanny professionally has provided experienced care for pets since 2001. After years of working in veterinary offices and boarding kennels, I wanted to offer a safe nurturing alternative for those of us who prefer to keep our pets in the comfort of their own homes while having to be away. The Dog Nanny is bonded, insured, certified in CPR and first aid for pets.

The Dog Nanny provides in your home pet sitting including lots of love and attention, fresh food and water, cleaning of feeding area and bowls, dog walking and or play session, administering medications and supplements, accident and litter box clean up. Daily attention to plants/gardens, mail and newspaper retrieval, checking home for signs of disturbance, alternating lights, taking out trash and many other special requests.

The Dog Nanny provides Mid-Day Walks, long days are hard on our pets too. A mid-day walk is the perfect way to keep your dog from getting bored or anxious. Walks are taken on an individual family basis and include real exercise from walking, playing or a combination of both.

The Dog Nanny 30 minute visit includes a brisk walk or play session, water, basic obedience practice, clean up if you dog gets wet or muddy and and a yummy treat.
